Until further notice the following local rules will be in place:

1. Lift Clean & Place - Bottom of the 9th Fairway:

A ball lying at the bottom of Hole 9, may be lifted, without penalty, cleaned, and placed within 1 card length.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE: Match play - Loss of hole; Stroke play - Two strokes.

2. Lateral Water Hazard Hole 2:

The area bounded by the right hand edge of the path from directly in front of the right hand edge of the ladies tee box to the road (Country Club Avenue) and the boundary fence is defined as a lateral water hazard.  If the ball lies in this area play proceeds under Rule 26.

3. Damage caused by Kangaroos:

Kangaroo footprints, their scratching?s or indents left by them are deemed to be ground under repair and relief is available under Rule 25-1. However, interference by such with the player?s stance is deemed not to be, of itself, interference under this Rule. If the ball lies in or touches the footprint, scratching or indent or it interferes with the area of intended swing, relief is available under Rule 25-1.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE: Match play - Loss of hole; Stroke play - Two strokes.

4. Abnormal Ground Conditions - Bunkers

Due to the recent rains, many of the bunkers have had the sand washed away exposing dangerous rocky conditions. These exposed rocky surfaces are deemed as Abnormal Ground Conditions and relief may be taken in accordance with rule 25-1.

PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULE: Match play - Loss of hole; Stroke play - Two strokes.

5. Hazard on 16th Hole

In an effort to speed up play the committee has decided to deem the area on the right hand side of the 16th green where the agapanthus are growing to be part of the hazard that runs in front of the green. We have defined the area with some red hazard markers and hope to better define it when we get some more red pegs in the coming weeks.
